A BILL to extend the time for the county commission of Jackson
County to meet as a levying body for the purpose of
presenting to the voters of the county an election to
consider an excess levy for the Jackson County health
department from between the seventh and twenty-eighth days
of March until the seventh day of June, two thousand.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
JACKSON COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING AS LEVYING BODY EXTENDED.
§1. Extending time for Jackson County commission to meet as 
levying body for an election to consider an excess levy
for the Jackson County health department.
Notwithstanding the provisions of article eight, chapter
eleven of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, the county commission of Jackson County
is hereby authorized to extend the time for its meeting as a
levying body, setting the levy rate and certifying its actions to
the state tax commissioner from between the seventh and twenty-
eighth days of March until the seventh day of June, two thousand, for the purpose of submitting to the voters of Jackson County an
election to consider an excess levy for the Jackson County health
department.
